I wanted to update you. I have been in conversation with our public works director about speed reduction concerns in Moke Hill Calaveras County is currently developing a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP) within Public Works. There will be some committees formed (I will be on), town hall meetings, and surveys. All about improving safety with vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles. Doing the study and building a project list will position public works to have shovel ready projects pre-planned for grants and funding opportunities.

I will keep you appraised of the process and hope to get some Moke Hill community member participation in meetings and surveys. Many voices help expedite projects.
