33nd Annual Turkey-in-a-Barrel Dinner

The 33rd Annual Turkey in a Barrel dinner is Saturday, November 19th at the Moke Hill Town Hall.  Social hour at 6:00 p.m. dinner at 7:00 and raffle and auction at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are: $20 adults, $12 seniors (age 65 and up) and $7 for children under 12 years of age.  Tickets can be purchased at:  Moke Hill Branch Library, McHale’s Revival, Petroglyphe Gallery or by calling Courtney McDermed at: 209.286.1834.

A traditional small town country evening, the Mokelumne Hill Community Historical Trust is proud to host this annual event.  Warm friendships and barrel-roasted turkey mingle in the beloved Moke Hill Town Hall with all the seasons tasty fixings, local wines and homemade desserts.  Fabulous ticket in the bag “silent auction” items and a live auction will further the fun with proceeds going to community projects like educational scholarships, Summer Art classes for children, Music on Summer Evenings Concerts, Holiday Open House, California History Day, and other local causes.
