Valentine’s Fundraiser – Imagination Library

Each year generous donations received during the Mokelumne Hill Imagination Library’s annual Valentine’s Fundraiser help sustain our community’s proven early literacy program.

This year, more than ever, your help is needed to continue these efforts. Enrollment is at an all-time high, with 42 children ages 0-5 receiving a free book in the mail each month! Since the program began in September 2012, over 1,400 books have been delivered to more than 70 children in our community!

Please join other community members, organizations, and businesses by sponsoring young children in Moke Hill!

You can help make the 4th annual fundraiser the most successful ever by following these 3 steps:

  1. Print the attached sponsorship form found below (IL Gift of Literacy 2016 p2)
  2. Decide on your contribution – Each $25 donation covers the cost of one child for the year
  3. Mail in your form and check today!

Thank you for supporting our mission and for your help in spreading the word about the Imagination Library and these fundraising efforts! My hope remains that same: that with continued community support, the program will be sustained on an annual basis by individuals like you who value early literacy and the well-being of our youngest residents.

Please take part today! The sponsorship form is attached below (IL Gift of Literacy 2016 p2).

Thank you very much!

The Imagination Library delivers a new, age-appropriate book every month to the homes of registered children – at no cost to the family. Families can sign their child up as early as birth and will continue to receive one free book in the mail each month until the child’s fifth birthday. When signed up at birth, children receive a total of 60 books to help build their early literacy libraries.
