Factory Outlet Gallery presents Laura Faye Mah

In the month of May, Factory Outlet Gallery is presenting three images by Laura Faye Mah from her series, Essence.  Marcher Yellow, Marcher Orange and Marcher Red are studio portraits of rock formations from the historic California Gold Country.  Each is captured in stark black and white and then hand-tinted in her signature style to bring out the texture and nuance of the form.

Laura Faye Mah has  always had an interest in creating and crafting. Her favorite tools?  A hammer, a sewing machine and a camera.  She received her first camera at the age of five and soon after learned how photographs were created.  The magic of watching an image appear onto a blank piece of paper still fascinates her today.  Laura’s award-winning photography is in private and corporate collections internationally.

The exhibition is on view daily 4-10pm.
