This workshop is for those who want to develop skills for practical color mixing in watercolor. Participants will learn techniques for color mixing and changing colors by using proper ratios of color to water on the brush. Find out the secret to getting great color mixes and preventing muddy paintings! Join us at Petroglyphe Gallery for this exciting journey of visual discovery.

Dale Laitinen is best known for his watercolor paintings of the mountains and deserts of the Western United States. He is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Laitinen has conducted workshops throughout the United States and in France. He lives and works in Mountain Ranch, California.

Petroglyphe Gallery is located at 8317 Main Street, Mokelumne Hill, California, two blocks off of Highway 49, across the street from the historic Hotel LegĂ©r. The gallery is open Thursdays through Saturdays 11:30 am – 5:30 pm and Sundays 11:30 am – 4:00 pm.
